What a week it has been. The Nat’l Stationery Show has wrapped up, the booth has been taken down and I’m back across town, getting in a little work before le weekend. Happily, my new Foodie line was a big hit! I was so pleased with the designs heading to the show that it was really heartening to feel so supported by my retailers and peers as I tried out a new category. This line is really close to my heart, and I can’t wait to start uploading the items and giving the shop a much-needed update.
For now, a couple photos from today’s shoot – of my personal favorite pattern…it’s a modern take on Delft dishes, in a broken mosaic style. To me this design echoes modern attitudes towards the kitchen, and reminds me of growing up, when my mom had several mismatched styles of Delft…This design was about inventing new ideas out of time-honored traditions…

I love these! Designs meant for the kitchen are my favorite to create and collect. I saw you and your beautiful booth at NSS, but you were busy with buyers the couple times I strolled by. Glad you were so busy!

Soon… I listed a preorder for 4 weeks, but I think it will be sooner than that. I wanted to be on the safe side. : ) Plus I need to get the details on all the monogramming/custom name tags up here too. x s

Haha- in this case stalking is a good thing! (Thank you for letting me know I did a good job!) I’ve put them all up for pre-order, Since the towels are still silkscreening and the cards are being assembled in their boxes, I haven’t started shipping out just yet. : ) Lovely to see you here, Cassandra! xo

Thank you so much for letting me know. I really got into designing them, and am so pleased with the way they turned out! Also it was great to be able to produce them all locally here in NYC…that was a huge thrill for me. : )
